Here are some photographs of the children exploring our current aistear topic. We used clay and black pipe cleaners to make these Halloween Spiders. We used wool and paper plates to help the spider weave his web. We enjoyed singing 'The Incy Wincy Spider' during while we were making the spiders and the webs.Presentation N.S. will host a ‘Halloween Dress Up’ on October 25th. Your child is invited to wear a Halloween Costume to school on Friday (25th), if he / she wishes. Please ensure this costume does not impede movement in the class/ yard and please make sure your child can still use the toilet independently while wearing this costume.
Presentation N.S. will host a ‘Pyjamas Day’ on October 18th to help raise funds for the ‘Cork Mercy Hospital Heroes Appeal’. Your child is invited to wear his/ her pyjamas (with warm clothes underneath) to school on Friday, if he/ she wishes. We ask participants to donate €2, or a donation amount of your choice, to this very worthy cause. Thank You.The boys and girls had so much fun with beanbag activities last Friday. Throwing and catching are very important gross motor skills the children should practise regularly at home.We are learning the 'Safe Cross Code' to help us cross the road. |
