We are celebrating Catholic Schools Week this week. Please read this document for further prayers and activities you can do with your child at home.Dear Parent/ Guardian,
I will be travelling to Belarus on February 18th as a volunteer to Vesnova Children's Asylum on behalf of Chernobyl Children Ireland. As part of the fundraising for my trip, Presentation N.S. will hold a 'Pyjamas Day'this Friday, January 30th. All children will be encouraged to wear their pyjamas to school over their own clothing and make a donation of €2. Money raised will go directly to Chernobyl Children Ireland. All donations are welcome; I really appreciate your support. Many thanks, Mary Hickey Online donations can also be made here- It has become apparent over the last few weeks that children who have been vomiting during the night and even in the morning are being sent to school. This is totally unacceptable, unfair on the child him/herself and all other children.
In the interest if the health and well-being of all pupils, please ensure that your child remains at home for 48 hours after vomiting to prevent the otherwise inevitable spread of bugs and germs. If you did not receive the recent text regarding school closure, we either have no contact number or the wrong number for you. Please provide the correct contact number to the class teacher so that you will receive school notifications via text in the future.Due to severe weather alert for tomorrow, all Boards of Management of primary schools in the area have instructed us to remain closed tomorrow, January 15th. This is in the interest of pupil and public safety. We regret any inconvenience caused.
