The Community and Education Department of the Abbey Theatre together with Baboró, are proud to present Me, Mollser, a specially commissioned monologue play which introduces The Plough and the Stars by Sean O' Casey to a younger audience by telling the story of the Easter Rising 1916 through the magical power of a performance and workshop.
Presentation N.S. are delighted to announce that our 5th & 6th Class pupils will experience this production and workshop tomorrow in our school. We have also invited 5th & 6th Class pupils from Scoil Mhuire and Cloghoula to attend.
2nd Class pupils will receive their First Confession on March 2nd (Wednesday) in Millstreet Church. Time will be confirmed in the coming days.
There will be no school on February 18th & 19th due to the mid-term break.
We urge all parents to be vigilant in the checking and treatment of head lice as it has been brought to our attention that this is a problem in some of our classrooms.
We are a Health Promoting School all year through, not just during Operation Transformation. We have submitted some photographs for their new 'Healthy Lunchbox' initiatives so hopefully some of these might be shown during the Operation Transformation programmes on RTE1.
