Our Food Dudes programme will continue next week. Here is a list of the fruit and vegetables we have tasted so far : 

Day 1: Banana and Peppers
Day 2: Grapes and Carrots
Day 3: Mandarin Oranges and Cucumbers
Day 4: Apples and Mange Tout

Due to the 'Status Red' weather warning for Thursday and Friday, Feis Maitiú has been rescheduled. Our school choir will now compete on April 13th instead. 

All parents have now been notified by text message that our school will be closed until Monday (March 5th), as per Department guidelines. 

Our gymnastic sessions have now come to an end. The children definitely developed some impressive gymnastic skills under the expert guidance of Danny and Jake. Check out some of the videos taken during the past few weeks of our Junior Infants busy during their fun-filled sessions. 

We are currently delivering the Stay Safe programme to all classes. 

The Food Dudes programme will be commencing next week. 

The girls are very busy practising the songs they will perform for Feis Maitiú. This is the first time our school will compete in this event and we are looking forward to watching our school choir take to the stage on March 2nd. 

Junior Infants (Room 1 and Room 4) were very busy chefs making pancake batter and cooking pancakes yesterday. Tasting the pancakes was also a very important task the children had to undertake as well as making the big decision regarding what toppings to have.

Sending love and best wishes your way this Valentine's Day. The children were very busy creating gifts and cards for their families. Here's a peak at some of their creation. 

School will be closed on February 15th & February 16th. 

The school choir are entering a singing competition in Feis Maitiú, Cork. This will take place at 10am on March 2nd. 

Full school uniform including tie, navy skirt, navy tights & dark shoes required as choir will be representing our school.

The buses will leave school at 7:45am on the morning of March 2nd. 

We will be first to perform in Father Matthew Hall, just off the South Mall in Cork if any parents/ families would like to attend. 

We encourage all parents to click on the link below to access parental advice regarding the dangers associated with your child using the internet on a daily basis. If you do allow your child to access the internet along with using social media such as facebook/ twitter/ snapchat/ whats app/ viber/, it is so important that you monitor and filter their usage every single day.

​REMINDER: 
No child should bring a mobile phone with them to school. This is clearly outlined in our Acceptable Usage Policy and our Child Protection Policy. 
On the rare occassion you may require your child to have their mobile phone in school, please ring the school that morning and inform us of this. The mobile phone will be kept safely in the shcool office and your child may collect it at 3pm.
