Here we share some photographs of the truly creative Easter bonnets which were made by our talented pupils. 

Our school will be closed on May 1st as all teachers will be attending the Primary Language Curriculum training course in Mallow. 

Our tour will take place on June 26th.  We will travel to 'The Playdium' and 'Bowling Buddies' in Tralee. More details will be provided after the Easter holidays. 

Millstreet Parents' Association represented both schools in the Millstreet  St. Patrick's Day parade.  The theme was 'Project Millstreet 2040' and the photos below show their fantastic float and the very enthusiastic participants. We extend a big thank you to Claire,  Denise, Sinéad and all involved with Millstreet Parents' Association for their continued effort and support. We are delighted that their creativity was acknowledged as they won 'Best Float' in the parade competition.

Dear Parent/ Guardian,
Here is a list of events occuring in our school next week:

Monday 19th: No School- Bank Holiday

Wednesday 21st: 3rd & 4th Class will host a 'Bake Sale' in aid of Millstreet Community Hospital and The Canon O' Donovan Day Care Centre. Baking treats will be priced between 25 cent and €1. If you wish to support this event, please send in money with your child on Wednesday. We also advise sending in an empty lunch box so your child can take home any treats they purchase. As we are a 'Nut-Free Zone', all treats on sale will be nut free.

Friday 23rd: Children are invited to create and decorate Easter bonnets at home. If they wish, they may bring in their Easter Bonnets on Friday. 


Please note school will close on Friday 23rd for the Easter holidays. Term 3 will start back on April 9th.

Here we share two clips of the  boys and girls of Junior Infants (R4) performing 'Lá 'le Pádraig' and 'An Leipreachán'. 

A lamb called 'Mr. Bean' joined the boys and girls in R3 today.  He was ably minded and bottle fed by Ms. O' Leary and the gang until Farmer John collected Mr. Bean to take him back to the farm. 

Holly Saunders (5th Class) will represent our school today in the Easons Spelling Bee competition in Cork.  Good luck Holly!

Our school will be closed on March 19th (Monday) as it will be a Bank Holiday. 

2nd Class pupils from Presentation N.S. and Scoil Mhuire N.S. recently received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. They are now busy  preparing for the Sacrament of the Eucharist which they will celebrate on May 19th. 

The theme we will explore this month is based on the topic of 'The Hospital'. The learning stations are as follows: 

Station 1: The Hospital Role-Play
Station 2: The Baby Clinic
Station 3: The X-Ray Department
Station 4: The Eye Clinic
Station 5: Fine Motor
Station 6: The Doctor's First Aid Bag ​
