As you may be aware, the First Holy Communion will take place on May 16th (Saturday). Each year there is tea and coffee served in the G.A.A. Hall which is organised by the Parents' Association. For this to go ahead, we need some volunteers who could give up a little of their time on the Friday night before to set up the hall. Volunteers will also be needed on the Saturday to help serve the tea and coffee. Throughout the years it has been the parents of the first class pupils that we have asked to help out, as when it comes your child receiving their Holy Communion next year, the favour will be returned. The tea and coffee after the First Holy Communion Mass gives the kids the opportunity to meet for a short time and the parents, grandparents and relatives can enjoy a cup of tea before heading off for dinner. The children receive a party bag and a little gift as the First Holy Communion is a special day for them. We, the Parents' Assocaition, would greatly appreciated any bit of help you can offer. If you are available to help out Friday (15th) and/ or Saturday (16th), please text the Parents' Association mobile on 086 6635625 by May 12th. Looking forward to hearing from you all.
