Here is a summary of the events Millstreet Parents' Association participated in/ organised during the 2017/ 2018 school term:
Invitation to attend:
We were delighted to welcome Chloe to school today to send her good luck wishes ahead of the All Ireland Final. We hope Chloe will be returning to us soon with the Brendan Martin cup. Corcaigh Abú...Each year, we ask your permission for your child to participate in certain activities. In order to cut down on unnecessary paperwork and to simplify record keeping, we have decided to include as many permissions as possible on one sheet. Please read carefully each of the items on the form and tick the relevant boxes. Not all occasions may be relevant to your child this year, but they probably will be at some stage in the future. If you have any concerns regarding any of the items on the form, please contact the class teacher or Principal.
The All Ireland Ladies Football Final takes place place on Sunday in Croke Park. We are all very proud that Chloe Collins, a past pupil of our school, will line out for Cork. This is a big honour for Millstreet Town. To mark this occasion, we will have a 'Red Day' on Friday (Sept. 14th). Children are invited to wear a Cork Jersey/ red clothing to school on Friday.
Chloe will visit the school on Friday and we will give her a big send off on her path to Croke Park. The First Holy Communion will take place on May 11th 2019.Head lice are already rampant in many classes. Please check your child's hair now and treat immediately, if necessary. If all parents/ guardians are co-operative and vigilant, this will not be an on-going issue. We remind you that Presentation N.S. is a 'NUT FREE ZONE' We have a number of pupils with severe nut allergies and if they were to come in contact with nuts/ products containing traces of nuts, the consequences may be fatal. Please be very mindful of this when you are making your child's lunch.Camogie with Esther
