Shelagh- Jessica's creativity and artistic talents have been recognised in two recent competitions. Her illustration was chosen to be on the cover of Marian Broderick's story ' The Lost Fairy and this book can be purchased nationwide. Shelagh Jessica, along with family and school representatives, attended the prize giving ceremony in Dublin on November 2nd.

Brende O' Donohue of RTE made a surprise visit to Shelagh Jessica in class last Thursday and annoucned that she was the overall winner of the Sunday Worlds' Halloween Art Competition.

We are very proud of all our talented pupils in this school.

Last Saturday, the Mooney Show (RTÉ Radio 1) had an 8 minute clip of Brenda presenting the prize to Shelagh-Jessica in the Presentation NS, and also interviewed her mum Gillian, teacher Mrs Murphy, and Principal Mrs O'Mahony.
